Rewired Maine
A peer network for stroke survivors in Maine.
Built by one of us.
I had my first stroke at 28. Two more came after. When I went looking for other survivors my age in Maine, I mostly found brochures. So I built this.
Rewired Maine is a peer network for stroke survivors. Not a hospital program. Not a charity. Survivors, finding each other.
It's built with younger survivors in mind first — most stroke resources assume you're retired, and some of us were still paying off student loans. But nobody checks IDs here. All survivors are welcome. Caregivers and family too — the stroke rewired your life along with ours.
It's brand new. Today it's a website and an email list. Join the list and you'll see what it becomes.
